Evergreen has submitted a proposal for $30,000 for the major events that we requested at the last board meeting. That proposal includes the cost of the events and Evergreen's fee.

The proposal appears to me to be exactly what we asked for and I am in favor of approving it at our next physical meeting.

Also, I would be ok with the CDD paying in advance for additional events that have an admissions fee equal to the cost of the event + evergreen. The admission fee would then be paid back to the CDD. Those events that are fully paid can be held again and fronted by the CDD and those events that don't pay for themselves can be discontinued.

How do the other board members feel about approving the Evergreen proposal? Also, what do you think about the idea of fronting events that have to sustain themselves?

I agree with fronting the events and discontinuing if events don't pay for themselves for additional events.

Additionally I can't say yeah or neah on the $30K considering I don't have list of events we are looking to approve.

Hi George, we all received the proposal by email on 10/22 at 10pm. It lists the events.

I think it sounds like a great idea (not that I am a board member). I still think some of the costs could be reduced for the events and would love to see a committee created that helps oversee events and help manage/ reduce the costs for the events. I'm very happy to see that Evergreen came back with a proposal. Does this mean that Lisa will no longer have a presence in the Beach Club? On a side note i think it would be great if residents had an option for paying their fees for events online. I think more people would register for events if they didn't have to come to the office during office hours.
