We have already had instances where neighbors have caught speeders or vandals on camera, but we have a limited ability to fine for these acts because we don't have consistent footage or identifying information. Nor, are we authorized to issue speeding tickets.

Another alternative that has been suggested is a "Wall of Shame" with the pictures of offending persons which could be placed in the clubhouse or on the new billboards.

The pictures would be from CDD security cameras at the speed boards which would show license plates as well as cameras by common areas (club house, tennis courts, etc). It was even suggested that residents could get their pictures removed from the Wall by paying a fee to the CDD.

This is a unique and out-of-the-box idea which may be considered too strange or very innovative.

What do the Supervisors think about it?

I do not like the idea and feel that it would open us up to being sued. This crosses so many boundaries. I think it's a funny idea, but a completely unrealistic idea.
