LMP Trimming Street Trees

At our last CDD Meeting the board asked John to return to LMP to negotiate the proposed cost of trimming trees at $40/tree.

LMP has responded, stating that they will trim street trees that can be done on foot at no charge. If a tree requires a bucket truck they will charge $30/tree. They will come out with the bucket truck when there are 10 or so trees that need trimming.

What do the Supervisors think of this offer?

Cyril - I believe this offer will work, if I'm correct the majority of the trees can be trimmed via foot with no issues considering most tree branches should be reachable with prunner and extension pole.

Any thoughts?

I think that we should proceed with the offer.

This sounds like a reasonable offer especially since most of the trees can be trimmed at no cost. Recommend we go with this proposal.
