Our roads Maintenance

I have been mulling around for quite some time now about our order of priority to spend tax dollars for aesthetic reasons on our roads. However,I do agree that all roads in the Community needs deep cleaning and some sort of enhancement to pavers' color.

Having said that, I truly believe that our roads need sanding, above everything else. Cory Lake Drive loop and both the ingress/egress are in worst shape than the Isle roads. 25 years or so of traffic has caused erosion and movement in our pavers to an extent that we need to allocate sizeable funds to this project.

I am attaching few pictures I took over the weekends. Please enlarge it to view close up the extent of damage and remember the condition will deteriorate if something is not done soon.

How do the other supervisors feel?

I agree with SID that something needs to be done to maintain and prevent our roads from detreating, further, I feel that we should pursue the most economical means of maintaining our roads. I'm just not ready to spend a million dollars just to change the color for four to five years.

Maintenance of the road should absolutely be at the forefront of important projects in the community. I know we have approved $'s for road repairs for this FY.

@ John please have an update for us on status of company doing repairs currently project progress timeline.

thank you
