Hi All! The Spirit Committee has been working diligently to plan a charity "Mom Prom" to raise money to send to Stoneman Douglas High (the school where the recent shooting took place). We have been working with Amanda and Wendy to secure both a DJ and bartender- both of which are insured as per CL requirements. The event would be hosted on the evening of April 27th from 7-11pm. The Mom Prom would be ladies only and all proceeds would be donated to the school. The Spirit Committee will continue to work with Amanda, Wendy, and John to ensure that all details are addressed. We would like to have the Boards approval so that we can secure the vendors. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks, Sabrina and Sheila |

Lets discuss it during next weeks CDD meeting. Sounds like a good charitable cause. I read the proceeds will go to to Stoneman Douglas HS. Is there an official website we can find out how the donated money will be spent? |
